I've got a few zippos that i picked up in thailand for dirt cheap, but they were mainly gifts (this transformers one, ahha)

I did however keep one for myself, even though i dont need it, great collection piece.

I have a lot of lighters from over the years. I am not much into collecting but rather just gathering them over the years from various sources and letting each one have a story behind it.

yeah thats what I did basically with the disposables. Like people would end up giving them to me and such. (I string lacrosse sticks, which is sad that I make more off that than I do actually and people would give me a lighter or two when I'd string their stick. When you string a lacrosse stick you cut and burn the ends of the strings so they dont fray.) But yeah the disposables got obnoxious to keep refilling so I eventually just started getting zippos and only taking disposables when they were given to me or real cheap

What I'm starting to do is get other kinda lighters (butane etc) cause of the whole zippos make whatever you smoke taste like lighter fluid for a bit

What Im trying to do is get my hands on a zippo blu but only if i find one for like 25ish. its not worth 40 bucks when I could find pretty cool lighters at a gas station for like 6

I have mostly butane lighters at this point. I am a cigar smoker and they are really the best for lighting a cigar outside. In a lounge or a shop I prefer cedar splints.

really? I smoked cigars once or twice but I never really got into them because again, im broke. I actually smoked a pipe for a bit too.

My old boss use to chain smoke cigars (HORRIBLE smell) and he would always give me one or two every couple days to try. I remember I lit one with a regular zippo one time and I thought I was gonna be sick.

I have three or four torches for lighting cigars. That about covers it.

Well it sounds like they were terrible cigars to begin with. The lighter isn't going to make it that much more terrible.

The butane torch does not give any flavor of lighter fluid. With a cigar you really don't want that flavor getting stuck in the cigar. Especially with lighter flavored tobacco it's good to avoid.
