Choosing the right hookah can be a confusing decision given all the hookah types and brands that are in the market. Use the following article to make a more educated decision.

There are many different hookah types and brands out there. You can read and learn in detail about the available hookah types and brands here. The following table also lists the best and most well known hookahs.

The ranking on the above table is based on my years of personal hookah smoking experience and preferences.
Hookah Size
The size of the hookah you buy depends largely on your use and budget. As the sizes go up prices tend to go higher too.
- Small size hookahs tend to be for personal use and have a hard time accommodating more than one person.
- Medium size hookahs are the best (in my opinion). They are large enough that will last one or two smokers a good hour. At the same time they are small enough for easy clean up and storage. Medium hookahs also tend to smoke better than small size hookahs as they have more space to store the smoke in the base.
- Large hookahs can accommodate parties and get together. They smoke better than small hookahs and generally the same as medium size hookahs.
How Many Hoses?
Obviously more than one hose is to accommodate more than one smoker at a time. Therefore it is mostly used at parties and gatherings. Smoking out of two or or more hose hookahs decreases the quality of smoke and the pull is harder too. In good two or more hose hookahs the pull and smoke can still be great while probably not as good as single hose of the same type.
